    These stories were so cute and funny The line about trimming a cast iron tree with asbestos ornaments had me cracking up though I m sure it wasn t meant to be funny at the time.

    Public library copy Three memorable moments stood out to me as this book contains old, over the years, Christmas material First, there s a moment when Reggie uses the non p.c word of Indian giver Second there s a moment when Mr Lodge mentions how he has Asbestos ornament decorations on his metalized Christmas tree imagine the health issues when that goes up in smoke And finally, the old, original usage of the word Gay when the older characters ...
