Interesting history book for children written about 100 years ago The author stretched the definition of English somewhat, and her chronology was confusing at times But I still enjoyed learning history I knew little about I listened to the Librivox audio edition, which had a very capable narrator.

This book gave an insight into many female historical figures I would recommed this book to everyone who is studying history be it male or female as it will tell you a few unknown facts This book should be on the curriculum in all schools.
